Bellybloom Ayurvedic Stretchmark Pack
Kerala's classical Soothika protocol, made portable.
Kerala's classical Soothika stretch-mark protocol — Mulethi, Manjishtha, Rose, with the Nalpamaradi four-Ficus base.
Postnatal stretch-mark fading pack — mix fresh with warm milk, apply 20 minutes, wash off. Daily for 90 days. Pairs with the residential Soothika programmes at AyurDarshan Hospital.
The story
In the long Kerala tradition of postnatal care, the 42 days after a birth are treated as a single therapeutic unit — the Soothika-kala. Three classical chapters describe what to do in this window: Charaka Sharirasthana 8, Sushruta Sharirasthana 10, Ashtanga Hridaya Sharira 1. They all agree on the central observation: aggravated Vata dominates the postpartum body, and Vata-pacification — through daily oil massage, warm baths, and specific dietary regimen — is the work of those 42 days.
The Belly Bloom Stretchmark Pack is the home-care extension of the Sthana-utpadana (stretch-mark fading) protocol practised at AyurDarshan Hospital during residential Soothika packages.
How it works
The pack contains Mulethi (Yashtimadhu, licorice) for tone-evening, Manjishtha for melanin balance, Lodhra for astringency, Rose for cooling and aroma, plus the classical Nalpamaradi base of four Ficus species. Mixed fresh with milk before application, the pack:
- Astringes the slack post-delivery dermis
- Slowly fades the red-purple colour of fresh stretch marks
- Provides cooling relief from postpartum heat
- Supports the natural collagen-remodelling phase in the months after birth
How to use it
- Mix fresh each application: 2 tablespoons pack + 2 tablespoons warm milk → smooth paste
- Apply to belly, breasts, hips, thighs — wherever marks are visible
- Leave 20 minutes; cover with a cotton wrap if it dries quickly
- Wash off with warm water in the shower; do NOT use soap on that area immediately after
- Frequency: daily for the first 90 days postpartum, then every alternate day
For best results, combine with daily Abhyanga using Dhanwantharam Tailam or Bala Tailam (both available at Maithra) before bath.
Who it’s for
New mothers in the 0–18 month postpartum window. Anyone with stretch marks from rapid weight change, puberty growth, or pregnancies past. Safe with breastfeeding.
The honest part
Stretch marks rarely disappear completely — even with the best protocol. What this pack achieves is fading: from a vivid red-purple to a soft pearl. That happens over 3–6 months of consistent use, not weeks. For full residential Soothika care (with daily abhyanga, dietary protocol, and supervised vaidya care), consider booking at AyurDarshan Hospital — packages of 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 days are available.
