Sweet flag / Acorus. Classical use in Yuvana-pidaka (acne) lepa (Sushruta Cikitsa 20.22 — “Vacha + Lodhra + Saindhava + Sarshapa”). Also nervine, brain tonic, used in baby care.

⚠️ Contains β-asarone, restricted in EU at ≤ 0.5 % in cosmetics. Modern formulations limit Vacha to ≤ 1 g per 100 g formula, or substitute with Tagara (Valeriana wallichii) which is structurally similar but β-asarone-free.
